River Hills Lions Screened a Record Number of Grade and Middle Schools for Hearing and Visual Acuity

Many thanks to the 26 volunteers (especially John Richardson’s multi-shifts) for the 3 days of the Health Screening Unit from SC Lions Charitable Service (SCLCS). This Fall, we served a record number of 445 students for hearing and visual acuity in 2013.  We were able to screen the entire 7th grade in Oakridge Middle School and the entire 3rd and 5th grades at Griggs Road Elementary.  Thank you one and all for this most important function of our River Hills Lions Club.  Chair, Lion Dona Van Leer
