Army brat in Texas.
Raised mostly in Dayton, OH.
BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Cincinnati.
PhD in Polymer Science from University of Akron.
Worked mostly for Rohm & Haas Chemical in Springhouse, PA.
Transferred to Atlanta, GA area in 1995.
Retired to Lake Wylie in 2001, where his life was saved in 2002 by the Emergency Squad’s off-duty crew who were fortunately still listening to the 911 radio.
4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, from 29 to 44; 3 grandchildren.
Volunteer for CAAC.
Volunteer for River Hills maintenance committee.
Mentored Lego Robotics team from Crowders Creek Middle School.
Recent Chair of River Hills Architectural Review Committee.
Hobbies: mostly golf, also playing bridge, woodworking and doing home projects; also a great cook.
Joining Lions so the two of us will actually cross paths every once in a while.
