Lions History:

The Lions have been participating in the Charlotte Walk since 1999. We are the Lions Strutters and include Lions clubs in SC District 32-D and NC District 31-E. Over the years, the Lions Strutters have raised over $183,000 and have been ranked among the Top Ten teams every year since 2002. We successfully compete among the ranks of companies including Bank of America, Lance, Wachovia and Wendy’s to name a few. We started with one club, the River Hill Lions Club in 1999 and in 2005 had 24 North and South Carolina clubs participating. Over the years, we Lions have made a significant contribution for diabetes research and we should be proud of our accomplishments.
