History of River Hills Lions
March 12, 2000
Dear River Hills Lions,
These notes were prepared for the Twenty-fifth Anniversary of the River Hills Lions Club. They are the highlights of the articles that appeared in the River Hills Press and the Board and Regular Minutes of the River Hills Lions Club.
Thanks to Kitty and Milt Yesek and Claire and Al Ellingson for giving me all of the back issues of the River Hills Press and Trina Nochisaki, former Editor of The River Hills Press, who gave us the pictures we were able to build this scrapbook, make a video and write an Anniversary Issue of the Focus.
I hope all of you take the time to read the notes and look through the scrapbook. The River Hills Lions have a lot to be proud of. From a humble beginning and a handful of dedicated, community-loving men the River Hills Lions is what is it today – one of the largest Lions Clubs in South Carolina.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working on this project and being a part of the history of the River Hills Lions.
Sandy Decker
