The River Hills Lions golf tournament committee is pleased to announce a new format for the May 8th tournament.
In these challenging economic times, sponsorship donations to worthy causes are hard to come by. All charity organizations and businesses are reinventing themselves to secure funding.
River Hills plantation has an upscale resident demographic that is serviced by hundreds of small and large business in the Lake Wylie area. Numbers of those businesses would like an opportunity to be able to showcase their products and services to River Hills residents.
This year’s River Hills golf tournament will invite all vendors to participate as golf hole sponsors.
The three level sponsorship of past, will remain in place.
- Diamond: Place canopy with a business representative on tee box, have one player play in the tournament, and attend the awards dinner, showcase their product or services at the clubhouse and receive recognition for their contribution.
- Gold: Have business representative on the tee box of their choice, signage on the tee box, have one representative attend the awards dinner, showcase their product or services at the clubhouse and receive recognition for their contribution.
- Silver: Signage around the clubhouse and recognition at the awards dinner.
Each hole will be comprised of one diamond level sponsor, and 3 gold level sponsors.
The immediate response from the business community is very exciting. The course can accommodate 18 diamond sponsors, 54 gold sponsors, and unlimited silver sponsors. All 2009 hole sponsors will have the first right of refusal for the 2010 tournament.
For many companies this will provide a window of opportunity to showcase their business, which rarely exists in River Hills Plantation. This is seen by most as sponsorship to a great cause, potential return on investment as well as a tax deduction.
All River Hills residents are encouraged to support these great companies, who have stepped up to the plate with a sponsorship check.
