Mr. Vitner will speak at the February 3 River Hills Lions Club Dinner meeting. Mark, who has spoken at the Lions Club annually for the past several years has given his audience an excellent economic review and forecast of the country, including Mecklenburg and York Counties.
Mark is responsible for tracking U.S. and regional economic trends. He wrote Wachovia’s economic newsletter, Regional Economic Review and also contributes to their Weekly Economic & Financial Commentary. Mark’s work has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek and USA Today among others. He is also a frequent guest on CNBC, CNN, National Public radio and the NewsHour with Jim Lehrer.
